Victory Belongs to God
Reading: Joshua 6:16-21; Exodus 14:14; 2 Chronicles 20:15
Devotional: The walls fell instantly, not through military strategy, battering rams, or human strength, but by God's power alone. Israel's responsibility was obedience; God's responsibility was victory. Are you exhausted from trying to win battles in your own strength? Stop carrying burdens you were never meant to carry. Stop trying to be your own savior, protector, and source of peace. The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still. This doesn't mean passivity; it means surrendered trust. It means doing what God asks while releasing the outcome to Him. Your job isn't to figure out how God will work; your job is to trust that He will.
Reflection: What battle are you fighting that you need to surrender to God today? Lay down your strategies and pick up His peace. The victory ultimately belongs to Him
