Rescued by Grace

Reading: Joshua 6:22-27; Colossians 2:13-15; Romans 10:13

Devotional: Amid judgment, Rahab and her family were rescued. A prostitute. An outsider. Yet she trusted the God of Israel before the battle began, and God honored her faith. This is the gospel. We all stand before walls we cannot defeat sin, shame, fear, death. But Jesus fought the battle we could never win. At the cross, it looked like defeat, but through His death and resurrection, Jesus brought ultimate victory. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Your past doesn't disqualify you from God's grace. Your failures don't put you beyond His reach. Like Rahab, place your trust in Him today. Fear doesn't get the final word. Death doesn't get the final word. Jesus does.

Reflection: If you're still walking around your Jericho, don't give up. Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep obeying. Your walls will not stand forever. God is faithful.
