Freedom from Fear
Reading: 2 Timothy 1:8-10; Romans 8:1-11
Devotional: Death is terrifying when judgment is still waiting. But for those in Christ, judgment already happened 2,000 years ago at Calvary. There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. His blood removed the fear of death. We've been justified, declared righteous, by His blood and saved from God's wrath. This changes everything. Death is no longer a punishment but a passage. Not an ending but a beginning. You are no longer a slave to fear. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you. Today, whatever fears grip your heart, fear of death, fear of judgment, fear of the unknown, bring them to the cross where perfect love casts out all fear.
Reflection: What fears are holding you captive that Christ's resurrection has already defeated?
