God's Story, Not Ours

Reading: Romans 11:33-36

Devotional: We often position ourselves as the hero of our own story, measuring success by followers, achievements, and recognition. But Joshua 5 reminds us that all of life is God's story; we're simply invited participants. When God incapacitated Israel's entire army through circumcision at the most illogical moment, He was declaring: "This victory belongs to Me alone." Your life isn't about building your platform or legacy; it's about magnifying God's glory.

Reflection: Today, ask yourself: Whose glory am I seeking? Am I trying to write my own story, or am I surrendering to the Author of all history? Remember, you're a mist, a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow. But God's eternal purposes continue. Make much of Him, not yourself.
