God's Timing Is Perfect

Reading: Genesis 15:1-21; Joshua 3:1-6

Devotional: Abraham waited 400 years for God's promise to be fulfilled in his descendants entering the Promised Land. The Israelites wandered 40 years in the wilderness. Yet God's faithfulness never wavered. When we think God has forgotten us because our prayers aren't answered immediately, we misunderstand His sovereign timeline. God was working through every generation, every delay, every difficulty. Your unanswered prayer isn't God's indifference; it's His perfect timing.

Reflection: What promise are you waiting for today? Instead of growing bitter in the waiting, ask yourself: Am I clinging to God's actual promises or my own presumptions? Have I consecrated myself to receive what God wants to give? Trust that God is already working in tomorrow, even when you can't see it today.
