Faith Requires Wet Feet
Reading: Joshua 3:14-17; Hebrews 11:1-6
Devotional: The Jordan River didn't part until the priests' feet touched the water. God required a step of faith before He demonstrated His power. He brought them during flood season, when the river was 1,200 feet wide and 120 feet deep, so they would know only He could do this.
Reflection: What impossibility are you facing? God may be waiting for you to get your feet wet. You cannot make excuses about why you can't obey and then expect God to part the waters. If you're not willing to step into the water, don't expect the river to divide. God has given you everything you need for obedience, His Word written on your heart, His authority as a co-heir with Christ, His provision for life and godliness. Take the step. Trust His provision. Get your feet wet.
